It looks genuine and both Gordon and David are lucky to have such good relationships - it will help smooth their lives.

It was sweet how D nuzzled Sam's face with hisnose as they entered No 10. And I agree with OP - 'tis lovely that both men showed such admiration for their wives today. Sadly I don't think there will be many women in the new cabinet so we must grasp at these straws.

Riven I know you don't agree with Cameron's politics, but he's not the Big Bad Wolf. I don't agree with Brown's politics and I'm beyond delighted that he is no longer our PM, but am not going to start saying that he isn't clearly a good husband and father - I hope getting to spend more time with his family brings him joy.

DC and Sams entrance to Downing street reminded me of the Dr Who episode the sound of drums, IMO she looked like the Masters bit of stuff.
