NC is between a rock and a hard place, damned by both sides whatever happens. I am just relieved that if we have to have a Tory government that there are likely to be a few moderating influences around the cabinet table.

Government by consensus and negotiation and not one imposed by a party with just over a third of the vote (and by that I mean the last labour government too). What's so bad about that?

I don't like the Tories - at all - but the Lib-Con deal is beginning to make sense. And I think Labour needs breathing space to regroup.

I think Clegg and his team are showing themselves to be skilled negotiators. And I'm enjoying seeing the media being wrong-footed. And it's such fun seeing the Conservatives having to be so NICE to the Lib Dems!

Exactly Muminlondon. But I still can't stand Cameron or Hague......

I like Hague better than Cameron. But maybe that's because he's been out of the spotlight for so long. I'm quite intrigued by how the Lib-Con tax policy would work. Cutting tax credits and child trust funds for the well off but raising the tax threshold could be interesting. I'm trying not think of how foreign policy would pan out...
