Still pretty shocking that they got over half a million votes though. None of us should be complacent.

If we ever do go the Proportional Representation way they would have MPs on that count.

I know gillybean-but am looking for the positives-they have gained no ground, they have lost councillors, and they failed to get nick griffin elected

now they'll will probably have lots of internal squabbles to keep them busy

They may have got a kicking up the bum, but they are still a threat according to UAF website, which states voting for them has gone up form 47,000 in 2000 to 197,000 2005, to 500,000, in this election.
