David Dimbleby/Paxman/Jeremy Vine/Emily Maitls are STILL on BBC news. They must be knackered. Or have they had a break?

(Realise this is a minor matter in such exciting times...)

I have been wondering that too.

Emily has changed her clothes.

LaurieFecktheToriesCake · 07/05/2010 12:42

They haven't and they look knackered.

Must be adrenaline coke keeping them going.

serengeti · 07/05/2010 12:51

Amazing they are holding it together really.

Emily's skirt was a wee bit on the short side last night, methinks

I have been wondering this - whether them and the politicians have been able to sleep at all in the last 36 hours. I mean, I could barely sleep waiting for the results, what if you were standing? And, is a bunch of people probably high on diet coke and bananas, with barely 10 minutes sleep between them over the last 36 hours, the right sort of people to be making decisions about who runs the country, with whom and how?

AbsOfCroissant · 07/05/2010 12:54

What if they finally get some rest, and then the Tories and Lib Dems wake in bed together and go "oh bugger. How did that happen?"

Meglet · 07/05/2010 12:55

I was thinking the same thing this morning. I can't beleive they are still on!

Some working time directives have been broken haven't they

hatwoman · 07/05/2010 12:58

I think that sleep deprivation is a well-known tactic to get decisions made. sometimes any decision is better than none. and if the politicians broke off from talks nothing would ever get sorted. i think.
