I'm glad I think.

Its good that there will have to be cooperation.

Worried what it will be though.

i'm not sure how i feel about it all tbh. need some time to absorb

what will happen next?

Skegness · 07/05/2010 09:50

It's very exciting.

MyCatIsABastard · 07/05/2010 09:51

I'd only just realised that it could actually be a good thing.

How will it work though? Does it mean that Gordon Brown will still be PM?

BythewayItsStillMe · 07/05/2010 09:54

I can't decide whether its exciting or whether its a let down....

Game of limbo anyone?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/05/2010 09:56

who knows what will happen.......

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/05/2010 09:56

(I'm going for exciting - a chance for electoral reform)

Heathcliffscathy · 07/05/2010 09:56

the ONLY thing that is clear from this election is that electoral reform is being demanded by the electorate!

McDreamy · 07/05/2010 09:57

GB now has the opportunity to form a government - should be a very interesting few days!

octothechildherder · 07/05/2010 09:57

Gordon brown remains PM until he resigns. Huge vote of no confidence for him - wonder what he will do?

BrokenBananaTantrum · 07/05/2010 09:58

which is more likley

the lib dems join labour

or

the lib dems join the torys?

Exogenesis · 07/05/2010 09:59

Well said Sophable

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/05/2010 09:59

join labour I think but would only work if other smaller parties came on board too.

EndangeredSpecies · 07/05/2010 10:00

Last week NC said there was no way he'd do a deal with Labour, and even if he did they'd still be a minority coalition based on results as they stand. He's going to make a statement in half an hour.

Heathcliffscathy · 07/05/2010 10:00

can i just interject:

i know that astrology is scorned by most, but interestingly mercury is retrograde at the moment. this implies there will be no clarity until it turns direct on 15th may.

McDreamy · 07/05/2010 10:01

Interesting question Banana - I think there is more chance of a Lib/Lab (sounds like a new dog bred to me) coalition than a Lib/Con.

octothechildherder · 07/05/2010 10:01

Ask him to come back and see if he wants to have a little chat about what he may do! We can talk to him about sleepless nights and tantrums.

BrokenBananaTantrum · 07/05/2010 10:02

did not know that NC is going to make a statement on half an hour

i'm nervously excited

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/05/2010 10:02

half an hour???? aaargh - I have to go out in 15 minutes. I've waited up almost all night to see what happens and I'm going to miss NC's statement

BrokenBananaTantrum · 07/05/2010 10:03

lib / lab does sound like a new breed of dog

EndangeredSpecies · 07/05/2010 10:03

I don't scorn it sophable. Mercury causes havoc. The election is just reflecting people's general uncertainty.

piratecat · 07/05/2010 10:04

sophable, good as anything right now!!

Heathcliffscathy · 07/05/2010 10:08

i really hope that the country now gets it:

a party can get nearly a quarter of the popular vote (libdems 23%) and that is absolutely and totally not reflected in terms of the number of MPs.

it really is a disgrace!

BythewayItsStillMe · 07/05/2010 10:11

Oh I should really be cleaning the house before MILs annual visit... a hung parliament just seems so much more interesting....

OrmRenewed · 07/05/2010 10:13

Lib-lab - ooh that takes me back to the 70s

BrokenBananaTantrum · 07/05/2010 10:14

leave the house your MIL might visit once a year but the last hung parliment was 1974
