Seeing as I can't reply in the last thread, thanks caramel

I really want to stay up and see what Brighton Pav votes in! Though I'm flagging..

veselaliberalka · 07/05/2010 04:23

Evan Harris has lost his recount(s) in Oxford West. Con gain.

Kaloki · 07/05/2010 04:24

Windsor is Tory, shock surprise!

SomeGuy · 07/05/2010 04:25

Tories have won 35 of the 48 seats on their target list of 116 (to win a majority) so far.

They should win 82 of the list, plus the eight they've won NOT in their list, leaving them with around 100 gains overall - about 300 MPs, still short of a majority, even with DUP support.

dh & i agreed we'd go to bed at 11.30 our time. it's now 11.25 & no sign of him appearing, even though i've suggested it's bed time! keep clicking on the bbc live thread, and the tories are in the lead, but not necessarily going to get a clear majority - so how can i go to bed now?
not usually that into politics but i find a hung parliament strangely exciting

kickassangel · 07/05/2010 04:26

Royal Tunbridge Wells conservative - another shocker (not)

SomeGuy · 07/05/2010 04:27

One things clear, the Tories WON'T have a big majority. A tiny majority is still possible though...

kickassangel · 07/05/2010 04:27

ok need to sleep for a bit again

Kaloki · 07/05/2010 04:29

Nope kickass it's all good on that front

SomeGuy · 07/05/2010 04:31

UKIP had no chance.

BNP only have a realistic chance to win in Barking, and they've lost there it seems

veselaliberalka · 07/05/2010 04:35

I need to go to bed - it's 5.30 here. Can't tear myself away from the awfulness, though. Did they officially announce Islington S yet?

thumbwitch · 07/05/2010 04:35

crikey, just checking in from Australia to see what the result is and it isn't! Seems like a bit of a mess so far... haven't read the previous threads but did anyone on MN miss out on voting because of poor polling station practice?

SomeGuy · 07/05/2010 04:38

Tories win Dewsbury

OP posts:
veselaliberalka · 07/05/2010 04:44

take that, Philippa!

veselaliberalka · 07/05/2010 04:44

did you see that? LDs held Sutton and Cheam. No Philippa Stroud.

caramelwaffle · 07/05/2010 04:45

Thumbwitch - Yes. Not me; a family member.

The Icelandic Volcano blew it's top. my relative was/is worse. She is rather miffed
