Just starting this so that we can all post our thoughts throughout the day.

My wish for today is that as many people as possible GO OUT AND VOTE.

I cannot vote as I have been living abroad for over 15 years so if anyone wants to vote for me, I would like to vote for Gordon Brown. Voting by MN proxy

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 03:46

oh fuck no it's worst than that - just looked again and realised that's the % gain they got - actual % of the vote for those 3 parties was 7%

FiveOrangePips · 07/05/2010 03:51

Blackburn had a slight swing from Con to Labour - and although BNP votes there still horribly high it was lower than previously

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 03:59

Lemonade here

minimamoth · 07/05/2010 04:00

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 04:01

yes they really did!!

mind Con took Stockton South....

dinosaurinmybelly · 07/05/2010 04:02

Loved the announcement at Whitby - especially the jigging Jesus. Thought DC's speech was perfectly gauged with a nod to the injustice suffered by several voters at polling stations and then pointing out that the one conclusion to be drawn at this point is that the country is not happy with the current labour government and in particular GB.

Hearing that while GB would have the right to try to team up with another party to form a government, Clegg has said in the past that he would consider it immoral of him to do so if labour were defeated in a convincing way. So we may see NC and DC having discussions if the tories don't get their 326 seat majority.

minimamoth · 07/05/2010 04:02

Thanks for link tocc

veselaliberalka · 07/05/2010 04:02
