Just starting this so that we can all post our thoughts throughout the day.

My wish for today is that as many people as possible GO OUT AND VOTE.

I cannot vote as I have been living abroad for over 15 years so if anyone wants to vote for me, I would like to vote for Gordon Brown. Voting by MN proxy

hello joan!!

Alibabaandthe40tories · 07/05/2010 00:12

Interesting what these two are now saying on BBC. They had been to vote 2 or 3 times but always found a queue and didn't wait.

Puts a slightly different perspective on it, although still shocking that there has been no consistancy in how it's been dealt with.

gaelicsheep · 07/05/2010 00:12

Lol Stretch - I'm glad I'm not the only one with idiot family members on FB. I'd like to disown my DB frequently.

HollyGoHeavily · 07/05/2010 00:12

Oh dear - the BBC are reporting that Penistone is one of the constituencies that has turned people away. That is a traditionally strong Labour area where boundaries have been redrawn and the Conservatives have been making a real push for a win. If the vote is close there is going to be a huge stink...

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/05/2010 00:12

thanks MmeLindt. that is sad.

MumofOscar · 07/05/2010 00:13

PortBlacksandVoter · 07/05/2010 00:13

God it's the three 'wise' monkeys.....

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 00:14

yes but Ali - she turned up at 9.15 and realised she'd have to queue,

Wouldn't you have expected to be able to vote if you'd got there at 9.15?

HollyGoHeavily · 07/05/2010 00:14

Jeez - enough of the boat with the pissed celebrities....

PortBlacksandVoter · 07/05/2010 00:15

Why Why Why the celebs??? What'd the point of a barrage full of famous folk? Why go down this road??

PortBlacksandVoter · 07/05/2010 00:16

Stretch · 07/05/2010 00:16

dreamylady · 07/05/2010 00:16

HollyGoHeavily · 07/05/2010 00:17

Does anyone on here give a monkeys what Joan Collins thinks about the election result???

Alibabaandthe40tories · 07/05/2010 00:17

Well yes probably TAF, but I think I would have hung around at 8 myself.

All these slebs are hysterical, preening away in the background behind Andrew Neil etc.

Was that Heston, couldn't work out who it was!

flowerybeanbag · 07/05/2010 00:17

"He has a sense of humour and a presidential look" says Joan Collins.

?????!!!!!!

Oh well in that case....

DitaVonCheese · 07/05/2010 00:17

Holly I agree? Wtf? Who was in charge of the guest list for that gig?

DC would be a good pm because "he has a presidential look"

DitaVonCheese · 07/05/2010 00:18

Joan Collins, for example ...

Stretch · 07/05/2010 00:18

gingerblonde · 07/05/2010 00:19

DreamsInBinary · 07/05/2010 00:20
