I know a lot of people are still undecided about voting and may not bother, but I just want to say that whatever your political opinion (or lack of opinion) please go out and vote tomorrow. Even if you spoil your paper, at least you have expressed your right not to vote for any candidate (the number of spoiled ballots is actually recorded). I don?t think anyone should complain about the policies of the sitting Government if they have not exercised their right and duty to choose their MP. If everyone voted, a lot of the so called ?safe seats? for any party might look very different. It?s also worth remembering that women have had the right to vote for less than 100 years. Express yourself!

Thank you, apsie. I have just sat down next to the landlord at my local pub ( I am not a mum but having just googled local polling stations, mums.net seems to be the only website demonstrating commonsense when it comes to last minute and up to date info ). I asked him what he's voting. He responds, "BNP." Before I can even open my mouth he replies: "Are you voting?" I reply, "No." He continues, "Then your opinion is irrelevant. Come back when you've voted." I'll be down the polling station tomorrow. Your vote allows you to voice your opinion. It defends your conviction. And allows you to moan. At length. Vote!
