another election within six months?

Not sure if I need my hearing tested, but pretty sure on radio 4 discussion this morning the possibility of another election within 6 months was mentioned.

Was I still asleep?
Was my coffee not strong enough?
Will someone who understands these things please explain to me?

Thanks! I'd had enough of the election before it was even called, so this will be fun! Just want to vote and move on, but don't think this will be the case for sooo many reasons.

Please, no more elections for another 5 yrs. This one has been bad enough.

There was some website I was looking at (possibly BBC) showing that if the constituencies had been how they are now, 1992 election would have been a hung parliament and 1974 would have been labour I think. Is interesting how the boundary changes do change things.
