Yes I will be voting conservative, not that it is anyone else's business and no, I really don't care who you vote for as long as you have carefully considered your choice. I will not judge you as a person or 'defriend' you if you vote a certain way, although I will feel exceedingly sorry for you if you vote BNP. AIBU?

wahwah - do you know for sure how your friends are going to vote? Sounds like some might keep their true feelings quiet given the views you have expressed.

racism against anyone is wrong; justifying one incident with another is beyond dumb

BNP voters then explain to me, as a Mum with two disabled kids, how youc an vote for a aparty that includes this man:

'Jeffrey Marshall
Eastbury ward, Barking and Dagenham Council

Marshall, the central London BNP organiser, displayed the poisonous side of the BNP in February 2009 following the death of the six-year-old son of David Cameron, the Conservative Party leader. In a cruel and warped outburst against those who had expressed their condolences at the death of Ivan, who suffered from cerebral palsy and epilepsy, Marshall wrote in an internet politics group: ?We live in a country today which is unhealthily dominated by an excess of sentimentality towards the weak and unproductive. No good will come of it.?

Marshall continued his sick tirade, stating that although it would be ?a kindness? to kill children with disabilities, this was not the same as advocating such a measure as compulsory state policy. ?But so what if it is,? he declared. ?At least we would all know where we stand. There is actually not a great deal of point in keeping these sort of people alive, after all.? '

Remember- be certain your child never gets sick or hurt becuase it could be them they're after next!

If you can't stay away from the BNP for the sake of decency and what is morally right, do it for the sake of your own kids.

Personally, with statements like that about I am amzed BNP voters come on parenting sites and am even more amazed any would think I might consider allowing one iin my home.

charley24 · 05/05/2010 07:11

jesus christ-i've still got it,rabswhatever and charley.
shining example of people who've clearly been overlooked for shining careers and tipped for greatness were it not for all the immigrants.

The Second Coming............

Are you saying that I do not have a shining career ? I work within the legal field, do not be so judgemental about other peoples choices.

My points regarding racism at no point stated I would vote BNP, which I will not be.

This was a debate regarding choice. I have a choice, MY choice.

Thank you to the other posters after my post, who can understand the point I was making.

charley24 · 05/05/2010 07:15

Sancti, that statement made by Jeffrey Marshall is wrong on so many levels.

1 day to go, looks like it may be Lib Dems then, they seem to tick the most boxes !

SanctiMoanyArse · 05/05/2010 07:17

Thank you Charley- anyone but a party that supports a member that would support killing my children.

And eal with incidents of stupidity such as cancelled concerts what they are; stupidity. There is nothing offensive in Christioanity any more than any other faith. My guess is a few aprents pulled their kids and it was a logistical problem with cover but they should ahve ahd the guts to say that.

cupcakesandbunting · 05/05/2010 07:56

YANBU. Even though I found myself lecturing my mother on her election choice the other day andI had to give myself a dry slap.

I have no idea who to vote for. I was very pro-Clegg until I actually thought about how ridiculous his proposed illegal immigrant amnesty is and how much I think he is being a dipstick in how he wants to deal with the long-term dole bludgers. There's being liberal, which I am all for, and there's bending over and inviting people to come and fuck you right up the bum. Sorry for being so coarse at such an early hour.

EggyAllenPoe · 05/05/2010 10:15

that remnds me of a West WIng episode where Josh asks a Republican he is trying to schmooze into voting his way...asks he republican how he can be a gay republican.
The answer is - he can be a gay republican because his sexuality does not dictate his feelings about the economy, defence, healthcare. funnily enough if you were a far left Asian person, you might be attracted to teh BNP by their (economically) left wing atttributes..(or you might be put off by the rascism on the way...)

not inconceivable.

EggyAllenPoe · 05/05/2010 10:33

oh and - one of he truisms of Westminster is people really are great friends with the opposite benches. It's easier than being friendswith thir own side, with whom they are in direct competition.

whifflegarden · 05/05/2010 12:17

IQ if a potato very good.

whifflegarden · 05/05/2010 12:26

of ffs

vesela · 05/05/2010 12:39

cupcakesandbunting - Lib Dem amnesty is IMO best way to deal with issue of illegal immigrants who are in the country, working for gangs for next to nothing - the alternative is to deport them, which I don't agree with.

You can already get Indefinite Leave to Remain after 14 years, and that can't be refused on the grounds of having lived or worked unlawfully in the UK.

SanctiMoanyArse · 05/05/2010 13:12

Totally agree with the amnesty; if tehre (and we know there are) people here working illegally then they can pay their bloody taxes like anyone else.

Also- I ahve teh extreme misfortue to mknow a sex trafficker (married to a friend of mione whom he was also abusing and is now doing well- tosser is in prison) and one of the reasons he wasn't caught earlier was the women were afraid what woud happen to them if they escaped.

We have to take every biut of power we can from these bastards.

Right, just bought Vince's Autobio- off for a read!
