I hate to point it out but Christianity is an relatively recent import from the Middle East. It really has no place in a traditional English society. I know some lovely pagans you could join, but they are a bit informal and prefer to go out wrapping thread round cow horns and worshipping the moon.

"Outsiders" means people outside a given area.

British born people who live within those areas need to be understand those road signs.

Fortunately, they can. Because the signs are in English.

Some other people, however, may not be able to understand them (potentially, for example, the members of the white, British-born Hassidic Jewish community just up the road beyond Stoke Newington.) Frankly, if it's a toss up, their needs come second because they don't need to understand the signs because they don't see them.

If that's your best shot at arguing, the BNP must be thanking their lucky stars you are only an activist instead of actually running for office.

The fact that we have road signs written in a foreign language, is a blatant sign (literally) that we have large numbers of people living here who can't read English..

Therefore, we must have children in our schools who struggle with our language....
