Bloody immigrants. Coming here from the other side of the world, taking British jobs, marrying British women. Having bloody children and taking up precious space in our schools. Buying houses, starting small businesses, paying taxes. Becoming part of the local community. Contributing to Mumsnet. Bringing their wealth from overseas and spending it on the British high street.

No, their objectives are:

• to urge Black people to register to vote;
• to enable the Black community to claim its place in British democracy;
• to demonstrate a collective community potential that could significantly influence the outcome in many seats at the General Election;
• to confront politicians with the reality of what it means to be Black in Britain; to force them to address the inequality of opportunity faced by Black people;
• to encourage them to recognise our unique perspective and positively promote the cultural diversity of British society in the best interests of society as a whole.

Not trying to put black people's interests first: trying to get black people's interests represented fairly and equally.

I have a DP born in Romford, DD born in Leicester, cousins born in Brighton, aunt born in Birmingham, DD's old nursery keyworker was born in Hackney... all black, & that's just the first half dozen I can think of that I know.

If the BNP aren't racist, dp, why aren't they going on about Australian immigrants too? Schools seem to be full of Australian teachers. Is that ok because they're white?
