I am Immy and new to Mumsnet. This is my first thread, but I can tell already that we're all going to get on so well!

So, I read about your chat website in the paper, and I thought I'd come and stir things up a bit before the great day on Thursday.

The thing is, I know how busy you all must be with your little angels at home - I only have one, and I know that he is a crazy little monster most of the time - but I also know that it is important to vote on Thursday, afterall, you are mummies and it is important to raise the tiny-troublemakers under the right government.

Another thing that is really important is voting for the right party - did you know that under a Conservative Government, our little bundles of joy are more likely to succeed in school?

So, mummies, don't forget to go along on Thursday to vote!

do you think we have IQ's in single digits

Anyway, from that attempt I assume you are a labour supporter trying to sway people away from voting Tory. If you really are a Tory supported then

ASecretLemonadeDrinker · 03/05/2010 21:39

Oh geez, this nearly makes me want to not vote Conservative.

atlantis · 03/05/2010 21:41

Oh God the Lib Dems really are scrapping the barrel now aren't they?

nappyzoneloveslindor · 03/05/2010 21:41

Are you just a regular making up a joke thread or are you serious?

PuzzleRocks · 03/05/2010 21:43

Methinks you're not really a Conservative voter are you Immy?

Madsometimes · 03/05/2010 21:43

Very funny!

PuzzleRocks · 03/05/2010 21:45

Or is it a double bluff you naughty prat?

LadyOfTheFlowers · 03/05/2010 21:46

Oh jog the fuck on pleeeease.

DuelingFanjo · 03/05/2010 21:50

funny

but already done!

TheCrackFox · 03/05/2010 21:52

I pushed the placenta out after the baby, not my brain.

Haliborange · 03/05/2010 21:53

I heart political trolls.
Without them I wouldn't have realised there was an election on.
All I think about is ironing and kittens, you see?

Hassled · 03/05/2010 21:54

Thanks so much, MummyIzzyWizzy. I knew there was something really quite important happening on Thursday - more important even than the Ocado delivery on Wednesday - but I'd forgotten what it was.

claig · 03/05/2010 21:55

she must be a regular, imitating the style of Grigsy who was earlier run out of town. Only, unlike Grigsy, who was Labour and for real, the OP here is on a wind up and pretending to be Tory.

Kevlarhead · 03/05/2010 21:56

Sadly, the level of pish being expelled by the FailTrolls on here means you have to be less subtle in your satire.

Feel free to have another crack at it, but you need to amp up the idiocy. Assume your audience is 100% female and has the IQ of hanging beef. Then use lots of exclamation marks, and no long words.

auberginesrus · 03/05/2010 21:59

Hilarious

I did read it straight after Grigsy's thread though, so the irony was completely apparent.

smugmumofboys · 03/05/2010 21:59

You're kidding, right?

crystal123 · 03/05/2010 22:05

MUMMYIZZYWIZZY Yes my children are an absolute joy (bundles of joy in fact) that's because previously before voting UKIP they grew up in a Tory household!

JustineMumsnet · 03/05/2010 22:30

This is a regular having a joke.

Ewe · 03/05/2010 22:33

It'd have to be! It's just too perfect

BecauseIAgreeWithGordon · 03/05/2010 22:35

PMSL at Justine having to explain 'funny' posts!

It just goes to show how many politrolls there have been on MN in the last few days.

NonnoMum · 03/05/2010 22:42

Goodness gracious me, IzzyWizzy. So, my little monkeys will do better at school under a Con-ser-va-tive government?
Thank you, Prank you for spelling it out to me in easy words.
Must go and snuggly-wuggle the ickle bubbas now.

honeydragon · 03/05/2010 22:49

Haliborange - do you use fabric condioner on kittens before you iron them - look there is more helpful mummy advice on voting posted - i shall pay attention to it in readiness for britains got talent, i'd hate to mess that up

cinnamontoast · 04/05/2010 10:36

CrackFox, thank you for such a great line! Please can I borrow it when in need?
