my main edumication points are
scrap all non state schools
take religeon out of schools
smaller class sizes
maths english as staple subjects in infant - to the exclusion of everything else apart from playing.
junior maths english history playing.
by senior schoool most kids should be able to pass a maths and english gcse in the first year.
senior school - kids only graduate to next year having passed the year before subjects - promoting a sense of wanting to achieve to remain with ones peer group and not be left behind. through my experience with teenagers - i think thissystem based on the american one would work best.
subjects in senior school focus on primarily english and maths gen science until they have a gcse. at thi point in their second year of senior school - they will have three gcses.
they can then chose other subjects whichmay suit their persuasion - eg sport, art, music, language.
