Just a reminder to anyone who may be interested or been affected by vCJD, infected blood, we are marching from Portcullis House on Tuesday 4th May 2010 to Downing Street. Joining the march will be parents of recent young victims who have died of vCJD, parent of Dean Burrell aged 25 whi is in a nursing home dying from vCJD, a mother who was given blood tranfusion from unknown donors, a haemophiliac who has been given blood products from a donor who went on to die from vCJD and now lives with a ticking time bomb that he could develop vCJD anytime, and many more people who are worried about the safe blood situation in the UK,such as mothers on mumsnet who have been given blood transfusions without knowing if the donors are carriers of vCJD. We know that a blood screening test is available and in use in France and we want to campaign to prevent more lives being exposed to vCJD, it can be prevented.
