£50 000 to leave the country. Where will you go?

BNP are giving £50000 to get out. DH will probably want to go to Hong Kong which is where his family came from. I am white, but as a Catholic Nick won't class me as white British so I can go anywhere "where such regimes prevail"

I'm thinking Austria. I love the sound of music.

Where will you go?

He's not fecking making me move back to Blighty - no matter who is paying! I am an economic migrant and proud of it!

Somehow I doubt they would pay for me to trace my family heritage in civilised, expensive Denmark I'll have to dust off the family coat of arms (French origin, apparently) to have any chance of a place in the sun!

All these people he is sending back, all the builders, doctors, nurses, teachers, scientists, taxi drivers, business owners etc.

Does anyone know who he plans to get to replace them?

GetOrfMoiLand, just use the old British trick of SPEAKING VERY LOUDLY AND SLOWLY in your native language. Gotta take a part of old Blighty with you.

Have just seen the headline that its only 180,000 people. Its an obvious solution to overcrowding - get rid of a miniscule proportion of the population. Obvioulsy that will be a massive relief on the over stretched welfare state, hospitals will be standing empty, schools will be so empty it'll be one to one teaching!

What a tool.

180,000 per year potplant. Not in total.

Even so, it would barely scratch the surface of the overcrowding he is talking about. The birth rate is probably higher than that.

Can he not even say how ridiculous it would be?

My mum'll have to go back to Ireland. I suppose I will too, as I'm half Irish. DH will have to go "back" (tho he's never been) to Nigeria. DS will also have to go "back" to Nigeria. My sis will have to go back to Canada as that's where she happened to be born.

Nice.

I'm Irish by descent but I don't want to go there. Can we just pick any old country as long as we get out? Think Liguria in Italy would be nice. Or Barcelona.

Actually Greece would be good - we can all give cash injection into their economy

Sorry, all you Irish who are hoping to get your hands on some loot - apparently you are 'British', so you don't qualify...

I could just do with going to India, it hasn't stopped raining all bloody day! Don't know about DH though, or DS, DH is more mixed than a fruit cocktail- he'd be torn apart, and DS, well!

I am a lapsed Catholic and my grandmother was Russian - does that mean I can claim £100,000? [hopeful emoticon]

I have never been to New Zealand but always looks lovely on the TV so I will take my chances there.
