O.K - this is my second Vince Cable thread. But this was too good not to share. I found it on his constituency website.

Vince Cable is right about everything...

It's sooo catchy - I'll be singing it all the way into the polling booth (not voting LibDem - but still singing the song)!

So, am I the only one to find this strangely amusing?

Right: you cannot cannot have a chancellor of the exchequer called Vince. You may as well have a Secretay of State of Defence called Kev and a Health Secretary called Dave.

He is also a very good constituency MP

Our local conservative candidate, who is a financial adviser, gave an interview to the local newspaper last week in which he said that he didn't know what all the fuss was about Vince Cable, he personally was much better qualified to dispense financial advice.
He also opined that he could have sorted out the financial crisis in a weekend given the opportunity.
It was comedy gold.

Can't decide if posting the link on his constituency home page is evidence of a totally over inflated ego, or an ironic sense of humour.

I thinki it is probably a sign that, like me, he has a very very dry SOH and the ability to laugh at himself

Becuase this is something In would PMSL over as well, without believing for one second

And he predicted 17 of the last 2 recessions.
