Third Leader's Debate - BBC 29th April

In anticipation of tomorrow's TV debate, MN will be launching a fifth poll of Mumsnetter voting intentions as soon as the debate finishes. Can Cameron regain the ground he's lost? Will Clegg continue to build on his success following the first and second debates? We'll have to wait and see - but in the meantime, we've put together a handy table showing how your voting intentions and attitudes towards the party leaders have changed over the past four polls

HOw many people own a home worth £1m plus?

Doesn't that tell you a lot about DC's priorities?

Perhaps you all do own homes that costly.

Molesworth · 29/04/2010 22:04

Gordon's closing speech was pretty bad, I must admit.

NC came third this time imo

Heathcliffscathy · 29/04/2010 22:05

rubbish ronshar...he referred to working for leon britten in the last debate!!!

Done the survey. Justine, presume you meant third not second debate in the first question?

lobsters · 29/04/2010 22:05

Am watching the sky follow up, they are having loads of technical problems, not good

MmeLindt · 29/04/2010 22:06

GB was the clear winner for me tonight.

Nick was sadly out of his depth, offered just idealistic policies.

tougholdbird · 29/04/2010 22:06

Still think NC won, not on presentation I admit, but just cos I prefer his polices

claig · 29/04/2010 22:07

GBH usual Labour scare tactics, run out of ideas and out of steam. DC won, real policies of change. But again DC let GBH off the hook, didn't talk about selling off gold or Brown's pension changes.

InmyheadIminParis · 29/04/2010 22:07

It's a shame, but NC didn't nail it.

ronshar · 29/04/2010 22:07

What I mean is that when he is interviewed he doesnt like to mention his work in the European paliament. Or the fact that he would happily sell our country to Europe for a dime!
No thanks

CUNextTuesday · 29/04/2010 22:07

Do you not think tho that the only thing Nick has is idealism at this stage - he's an unknown quantity whereas we know roughly what the other two will do based on past experience

WinkyWinkola · 29/04/2010 22:08

MmeLindt, totally agree.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 29/04/2010 22:08

Who won?

Oh, IDK, I lost the will to live halfway through. So many questions were repeats from previous debates.

Completely unconvinced by DC - inheritance tax cut utterly indefensible in this economic climate....

cinnamontoast · 29/04/2010 22:09

Herbie, I don't know why you're vulnerable but the Tories traditionally look after those at the top, not the bottom. And when I was a single parent and GB introduced tax credits it saved me from going under.

claig · 29/04/2010 22:09

Gordon Blimey really is Desperate Dan the scare tactic man

Heathcliffscathy · 29/04/2010 22:10

he mentions his background in europe all the time! as well as his speaking 4 languages.

sell us for a dime...wtf are you talking about???? the fact that he knows that in terms of negotiating with china and the US we mean absolutely NOTHING unless we stand at the heart of europe? is that what you mean?

are you rupert murdoch?

animula · 29/04/2010 22:10

Liked GB, but also liked the Lib-Dem amnesty. DC's economic stuff just scares me. And the immigration cap is crazy. Seems to stand as a sign of so much - unworkable, counter-productive, appealing to the populist vote.

gaelicsheep · 29/04/2010 22:10

GB exposed his true colours. He's a big fat liar with nothing positive to say about his own policies. Over my dead body would I vote Labour after tonight's shameful performance.

woosam · 29/04/2010 22:10

No harm in working cross party. Tony Blair wanted to offer Paddy Ashdown a place in his cabinet. I think he should have been braver and done it.

NC has been quite open about working for LB and LB has said he wished he (NC) was a Tory.

YoMoJo · 29/04/2010 22:10

sancti, i get where you are coming from. Im a teacher & I am voting labour purely because they are the only party that have promised to mantain the same levels of funding in education.

Dont particularily support their other policies but am too worried about my job security to vote for anyone else atm. I wonder if any other teachers/civil workers feel the same?

MerryMarigold · 29/04/2010 22:11

Is this where the poll is?

Heathcliffscathy · 29/04/2010 22:11

i love it...'known quantities'...that have left us utterly utterly in the shit! so for godsakes don't let someone proposing something different have a go, cause clearly that would be insane...WTF??
