Third Leader's Debate - BBC 29th April

In anticipation of tomorrow's TV debate, MN will be launching a fifth poll of Mumsnetter voting intentions as soon as the debate finishes. Can Cameron regain the ground he's lost? Will Clegg continue to build on his success following the first and second debates? We'll have to wait and see - but in the meantime, we've put together a handy table showing how your voting intentions and attitudes towards the party leaders have changed over the past four polls

NC.
I do not want a hung parliament where every single issue is argued over in the crappy infantile way you three have argued over the past three weeks.

AmeliaCordelia · 29/04/2010 22:00

NC "people like you need help not the top 10%"

Oi!!! I might be in the top 10% cheeky sod... (i'm not but i'll not be talked down to either....)

DH just said that NC was in the young conservatives when he was at uni. I didn't know that!!

Wolfcub · 29/04/2010 22:00

ouch GB falling over his feet

Bumperliouzzzzzz · 29/04/2010 22:00

Can I vote for a Lib-Lab coalition? Nick's idealism with Gordon's pragmatism.

animula · 29/04/2010 22:00

Wolfcub - no - I hate it too, and I moved to make sure my dc didn't go to a school that did it

BUT

it is vital for children from more difficult backgrounds - it's had astonishing effects for those children.

BUT

Would you want it in all schools?
Then how do you get the children who need that into those schools - and the children who don't need it - for whom it might actually be a bad thing - into other schools?

No idea my self.

JustineMumsnet · 29/04/2010 22:00

So that's it, no more leaders' debates [boo] but there's still time to fill in our fifth and final (Godwilling!) election poll. We've got a case of champers up for grabs with which to toast the victors, or, if you prefer, drown your sorrows on election night.

tougholdbird · 29/04/2010 22:00

Nick needs to be out and about with Vince tomorrow

woosam · 29/04/2010 22:01

Gordon's fluffing his round-up a bit.

Molesworth · 29/04/2010 22:01

Cartoose · 29/04/2010 22:01

AAAggghhh GB's smile!

animula · 29/04/2010 22:01

Bumperliciouzzz - yes to that coalition.

MmeLindt · 29/04/2010 22:01

Strange closing speech from GB there. Would have preferred a more uplifting than a other party bashing one.

southeastastra · 29/04/2010 22:01

justine, my vote is between myself and the ballot box

NC also worked for conservatives in Europe. He has a very interesting political history which he likes to keep very quiet.

Sabs1981 · 29/04/2010 22:02

Best turn the mike off now

Wolfcub · 29/04/2010 22:02

I agree with extending school hours during the week and I think that would be positive, what I;m not sure I like is the idea of is reducing the time families have together

YoMoJo · 29/04/2010 22:02

Sabs - PMSL

CUNextTuesday · 29/04/2010 22:02

What IS that music that the BBC uses for its election coverage?? Its driving me MAD

SanctiMoanyArse · 29/04/2010 22:03

I want to know what they mean by speical schools

I get that ds3's place at specialist school is safe, nowt else they can do tbh

DS1 we hope will go to an AS Base within a mainstream school- a class of AS kids helped to integrate. I don't want to send him if funcing not there. But nobody will tell me if AS is disabled enough- it is for DLA, but not for Social Services

Oh if they can arrange for a specialist Sn Nanny i'll be ding the right thiung DC and getting a job ASAP. What's that? Social Services not listed as a frontline you'll be saving? Blimey I am buggered again aren't I?

vesela · 29/04/2010 22:04

zapostrophe - exactly. 13 years.

He doesn't know how to run an economy in good times OR in bad.
