Third Leader's Debate - BBC 29th April

CatherineHMumsnet · 28/04/2010 11:11

In anticipation of tomorrow's TV debate, MN will be launching a fifth poll of Mumsnetter voting intentions as soon as the debate finishes. Can Cameron regain the ground he's lost? Will Clegg continue to build on his success following the first and second debates? We'll have to wait and see - but in the meantime, we've put together a handy table showing how your voting intentions and attitudes towards the party leaders have changed over the past four polls

Ok Ok David. We get it. Your kids go to state school. What do you want? A medal?

Wolfcub · 29/04/2010 21:56

am I the only person who hates the saturday morning classes idea

cinnamontoast · 29/04/2010 21:56

We already KNOW your kids are at state school, DC! And you nicked the massage suite line from Cleggy. Sly!

ronshar · 29/04/2010 21:56

Yep DC said he wanted parents to have the right to chose special need school or mainstream.

Sabs1981 · 29/04/2010 21:56

CTC again!

MmeLindt · 29/04/2010 21:56

They are all very patronising when they go on and on about being a parent.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 29/04/2010 21:57

Mrs forgetful. DC mentioned that Special needs schools shouldn't be closed and that children with special needs should be able to choose between mainstream and special schools.

Wolfcub · 29/04/2010 21:57

DAvid Cameron "families are the most important thing" but only if they are married heterosexuals

SethStarkaddersMum · 29/04/2010 21:57

it is a very big deal for him Spidey. He had never met anyone whose dcs went to state school until he was 36.

honeydragon · 29/04/2010 21:57

does dc have kids - he keeps it quiet doesn't he, nice to see they've all crawled back out poor old teach's bum now

animula · 29/04/2010 21:57

GB is, I think, trying to get across that if a child goes into a school from a family in poverty, as it is , very little in the classroom will reach them. It's too late, and not enough. they have to go in well fed, etc.

It's not coming across, though.

mumutd · 29/04/2010 21:57

I just don't believe you David, sorry.

PinkFluffyslippers · 29/04/2010 21:57

Vomit - DC " I love this country." .... eeeyyuuk so cheesy. DC you can do better than that...

VoidofDiscovery · 29/04/2010 21:57

Yes, rich male parents

defineme · 29/04/2010 21:57

'What do they mean by one-to-one tuition?'
I'm a tutor that's part of this Labour scheme to balance the gap in achievement caused by middle class parents paying for tuition for their children. Every child in Primary and Secondary Ks2 or 3 that is more than 1 level behind their peers in Maths or English is entitled to 10 sessions of tuition. It started being introduced last September and makes a huge impact on the kids who receive it.

ronshar · 29/04/2010 21:58

Or in civil partnership.

MerryMarigold · 29/04/2010 21:58

Anyone except David Cameron

cinnamontoast · 29/04/2010 21:58

How dare cameron claim to be the party that supports the vulnerable!

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 29/04/2010 21:58

Compared with whom Vesela? btw I am a Lib Dem too

mumutd · 29/04/2010 21:58

Yes, I got that animula.

claig · 29/04/2010 21:59

Clegg out of his depth. Eveything he jas said is led by his simple belief that we can do things differently. Platitudes and hot air.

megcleary · 29/04/2010 21:59

hey Dr Nick!

SanctiMoanyArse · 29/04/2010 21:59

'am I the only person who hates the saturday morning classes idea '

ds2 is behind without significant SN (SA level) and tbh Satureday mornings would be brill for him.
