Will the BNP give me money to go to Spain?

I'm getting quite excited about this. As the grandaughter of a refugee immigrant, does this mean that they'll give me a grant to return to my grandma's country of ethnic origin (which happens to be Spain)? Will I get lots of cash so I can buy a holiday home on a Costa?

Mind you, seems a bit of a shame for the British tax payer now they've paid for my expensive and prolonged education. Ah well, I expect Spain needs teachers too...

What about people with ancestors who were British but went to live in one of the colonies..then their descendants came to live in the UK..would their children be allowed to stay, bearing in mind there would have been a bit of genetic mixing with the natives?

Gypsies all have to go to Egypt. Unless you count as part of traditional English life?

I am Irish, but you'd have to pay me a lot of money to go back. And I'd miss DH and the kids. So I'm staying.

CatIsSleepy · 23/04/2010 20:51

excellent
I could go to Spain, or Ireland
choices, choices...

RunawayWife · 23/04/2010 20:51

I wonder where I could go?
You see I am white English born and raised here, but.....

Grandparents on one side were Irish and Italian and on the other Irish and English

Great grandparents included Jewish and Romany,

Do you think I will get a choice of where to get "sent back to" or will I have to stay here and watch Wimbledon in the rain year in year out?

LynetteScavo · 23/04/2010 20:55

"IMMIGRATION ? time to say ENOUGH!

On current demographic trends, we, the native British people, will be an ethnic minority in our own country within sixty years.

To ensure that this does not happen, and that the British people retain their homeland and identity, we call for an immediate halt to all further immigration, the immediate deportation of criminal and illegal immigrants, and the introduction of a system of voluntary resettlement whereby those immigrants who are legally here will be afforded the opportunity to return to their lands of ethnic origin assisted by a generous financial incentives both for individuals and for the countries in question.

How generous, exactly? Would they buy my house off me? Because there would be no one else left to buy it, would there? England would be like that program "Survivors" I reckon.

LynetteScavo · 23/04/2010 20:56

Oops...that was a quote taken from the BNP website.

Horton · 23/04/2010 20:57

I would quite like enough cash to relocate to each of the places my grandparents came from. Yes, homes in the West Indies and Ireland would suit me just fine. How much can I get? I also have an English grandparent so presume I can keep my current home, too?

WebDude · 23/04/2010 21:18

Think the limit (not to disappoint the OP too much) was well under 10K so far from enough to do much more than buy a 40' container and have it (and your belongings) transported, plus a bit of minor work (to add windows, a bit of plasterboard and maybe enough for plumbing in the bathroom and kitchen - assuming you buy the kitchen units and sink later).

You'd need to get some reinforcements to be able to have a lockable door in the side, then mount the whole container on some old railway sleepers, and use a few sleepers to have a set of steps down from the new door.

Once you have a job in some local firm, you can finish the kitchen and then arrange to cut the end of the container off and have full height sliding double glazed doors for extra light and to allow you to relax in the sun when not working. Best make sure that end faces west so you can enjoy the sinking sun...

Of course, if your container/home arrives too late in the summer, you'd be saving for some form of heating - to at least be able to dry your clothes on wet days, and postpone the full height d/g until the following spring.

dd1 was conceived in Madeira.

Would she be sent back?

GrendelsMum · 23/04/2010 21:22

Sod it. I'm not going to leave the UK for under £100k. I need my mansion on the Costa.

Nick Griffin, I'm open to offers. Anything over £100k, and you can count on having one less one less teacher feckless scrounging immigrant in the UK. Got to be a bargain.

I'm sorry, GrendelsMum, but I've just realised that if your name is to be believed, although you may be a bit of a monster you're surely Anglo-Saxon so you aren't going anywhere

claig · 24/04/2010 06:45

Interesting to note that the Romany Gypsy homeland is in India. They were called gypsies because large numbers had settled in Egypt, and were therefore known as gypsies

RunawayWife · 24/04/2010 09:18

Ohhhhh I wanna be sent to Egypt then, always wanted to go there.

/packs factor 60+ and good book, waits for Nick Griffin to look up runaway family tree

Chil1234 · 24/04/2010 09:26

Apparently Griffin was invited to appear on an episode of 'Who Do You Think You Are?' .... but chickened out because there are more than a few 'post ice-age foreigners' in his own recent family tree. Hmmm

101damnations · 24/04/2010 16:14

Ohhh lovely.Does that mean I'd get a choice of Ireland,Spain, and Denmark? The dds would have to come with me though.DH would be staying, his family is English as far back as anyone knows.

crystal123 · 25/04/2010 23:49

The BNP should pay for all MNs to bugger of out of the country, then we would all have some peace, even from me!!
