I'm going along to be in the audience this Thursday for the Sky News TV Debate - it's being filmed in the South West, although it seems we're not supposed to say exactly where for security reasons.

Would people like an official MN behind-the-scenes report afterwards?

Should I break the rules and heckle/cheer loudly at a strategic moment, and if so then when?

If I'm allowed to ask a question should I go "off-script" and ask about biscuits?

Is there anything else I should think about?

He mentioned his son once to show he understands how difficult it is to care for a disabled child.

That is twice he mentioned M&S. Is he hoping for a new dress for Samantha?

did DC just trip up and swapped his policy?

NC does everything beautifully. He is the real deal. Would win hands down if he was Labour or Tories. Let's give him a break

Yes let's all put our trust in the top business leaders who earn millions and pay peanuts.

They also opposed the minimum wage on the ground that millions of jobs would be lost.

I agree, Fab. He mentioned his son while talking about carers, and respite. It was not completely unconnected.

Nick's constant reference to the questioner is actually more distracting than endearing.

Is it just me or is the camera focusing entirely on cameron when he's making his point but buzzing around all over when it's NC or GB doing the talking?

They keep sticking the boot in and then talking about the parties working together - so odd and far from the usual election stuff. Shows how much has changed since last week.

Why is NC calling his colleagues by their full names? Surely they are better acquainted than that?

Nick did answer well. I've always voted Tory, but NC is answering well. Not sure on all their policies though

Bosoms, you're not missing much - the camera work is terrible. Too many head and shoulder shots - not that I want to see them gesticulating, but they seem disembodied.

I agree too fab - I had more sympathy for that that for all the general "I met an old person/lesbian/teenage mother/builder in Swindon" type anecdotes

I didn't read DC's comments about his son that way tbh. He mentioned him in empathy with carers did not talk about him dying. That would have been distasteful. Would have been odd for DC not to mention Ivan when speaking of carers imo.
