Is it just me? or are many of the comments
posted on this site bordering on Liberal Facism? Many comments on this site liberally call people racist or facist without knowing what the meaning of the word is. The comments are cruel and offensive. It appears to me that if you don't like the politics of a person or a party, some of you abuse that person verbally. The real facism lies in denying free speech, and stifling free speech through political correctness. Thought control through a liberal agenda is not a good idea!

Crystal, sorry to point this out again, but your posts on this thread really do tend more towards personal attacks than debate...

Can you explain how exactly you feel you are being 'suppressed through terminology'?

I don't mean to come across as a 'thick snob', but it kind of reads like you're regurgitating chunks of this book without really thinking about whether it's actually true - or applicable to this country? I presume it's American?

'Why do right wing people think free speech is them saying whatever they want without reply?' - I've long wondered this. Not all right-wingers of course, but I do tire of the arguments against 'political correctness' that basically boil down to: I should be allowed to say whatever I like, and if you dare disagree with me I will label you an authoritarian.

They are so crazed by their cult of individuality and their dominance of power over the last 30 years they simply can't take dissent. They certainly can't take responsibility for the disastrous state of the world they've created.

So they then equate fascist thugs and murderers - which they still support in places like Saudi Arabia, Equatorial Guninea etc - with anyone who talks back to them.

Some of them can even spell.

Very much like the last 20 years of the Soviet system, hysterical apparatchiks shouting down any dissent etc...
