Oh Dave, just couldn't do it with Gordon - I'd kill him

Kafka9 · 15/04/2010 21:36

dinster Cuts now means we will pay off the deficit quicker because we will pay much much less interest.

FattipuffsandThinnifers · 15/04/2010 21:36

Has this made anyone change their mind/make their mind up about who they'll vote for in the ge?

Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 21:36

DC reminds me of Blair in terms of his v irritating style before elected that only toned down slightly in office.

I reckon if we could see underneath the three inches of Chanel Vitalumiere, we'd see Dave sweating.

TheFallenMadonna · 15/04/2010 21:37

I need to read up on the psychology of watching these debates. 'Cos I read how well DC is doing, but my perception is completely different. Is it possible to view these things objectively?

Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 21:37

Ah, a "review" that will be unbeaurocratic and quick, not to mention cheap .

morningpaper · 15/04/2010 21:37

You don't PAY OFF deficit - the deficit is just the difference between spend and income

The DEBT we have not even begun to think about yet

HumphreyCobbler · 15/04/2010 21:37

I think we have all watched and had our prejudices confirmed

Clarissimo · 15/04/2010 21:37

Exactly as how I would ahve summed it up leonie- funny as I ahdn't expected it to turn out this way

MsDav · 15/04/2010 21:38

PfftTheMagicDragon · 15/04/2010 21:38

MollieO · 15/04/2010 21:38

Is GB wearing lipstick? His lips look very red .

ronshar · 15/04/2010 21:38

I have worked my way through a packet of Jaffa Cakes!
GB needs a slap.

AmpleBosom · 15/04/2010 21:38

Did you know our soldiers are 'Brave'?

lobsters · 15/04/2010 21:38

Dinster - like the others said, no-one knows which is acutally the right answer as to cut now or cut later. Economists are split, personally i'm in the cut later camp. It's old fashioned Keynesian economics, if the government spends now, it'll put enough money in the economy to kick start it again, through providing employment and buying things from the private sector

i am getting a bit tipsy through the over use of the town of Sheffield,

Peabody · 15/04/2010 21:38

Good point morningpaper

EggyAllenPoe · 15/04/2010 21:38

i think they are very much cut from the same cloth. it was successful cloth for Blair though....

Spidermama · 15/04/2010 21:38

Very good to mention trident Nick. Well done!
I wish he had been allowed to finish on that point.

McDreamy · 15/04/2010 21:39

Thing is Fatti we're not voting for them are we. It all depends on where we live.

PortBlacksandDweller · 15/04/2010 21:39

Do you think anyone is actually just sitting and watching? Without being on here / twitter / BBC Have Your Say / Facebook etc. etc.

Madsometimes · 15/04/2010 21:39

Current odds from William Hill for debate winner (not election outcome).

NC 4/7
DC 2/1
GB 6/1

APassionateWoman · 15/04/2010 21:39

Not totally@Humphrey.

I thought DC would be much more impressive than he is.

I also hoped Clegg might be more robust.

I thought GB might be more shaky, less self assured.
