none of them are partically appealing to me

dinster · 15/04/2010 21:39

I know they proably can't talk about the massive cuts required but the not being able to makes a mockery out of the whole fandango. May as well just pick on who's got the best foundation.

muminlondon · 15/04/2010 21:39

We know them too well already, don't we? The Chancellors' debate was more interesting because I hadn't really heard from Darling or Osbourne much on camera and Vince was very self-assured and entertaining.

Too many cliches here.

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 21:39

I think Clegg has most to gain from this debate.

I think that the influential economists are split between Cameron's and Brown's per a survey a few months ago.

I am not an economist but I am interested in the subject and agree with TheHeathenOfSuburbia. I think it is difficult to forecast the correct rate at which public spending should be cut.

Nettiespagetti · 15/04/2010 21:39

I do like NC but some of his cuts worry me!

Mollie0 just staring for lipstick - think he has been biting his lips

EggyAllen - re immigration pandering - you could argue, though, that the way to draw support away from the BNP is to look at what is bothering potential BNP voters and find some kind of way to address the issues without straying into racist bigot territory. If you ignore the groundswell of support for the BNP, they will only get bigger as people feel marginalised.

Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 21:40

Has my view changed? DC going down in my estimation. GB doing slightly better than I predicted on content, but poor presentation as ever. NC more reasonable than I expected.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 15/04/2010 21:40

Has made me think more about Lib Dems but live in a Labour heartland...

NC straight to camera again tho which I find alarming

Spidermama · 15/04/2010 21:40

So we're allowed nuclear weapons, but we get to say who else is allowed.

Yeah. That's really going to hold water.

hogshead · 15/04/2010 21:40

partically?? particularly!! too much spider cider

Jaquelinehyde · 15/04/2010 21:40

OH MY GOD if Clegg refers to you two one more time I, I, I,...have no idea what I will do but it is very annoying.

HumphreyCobbler · 15/04/2010 21:40

see what you mean, but it hasn't changed anyone's mind about who they will vote for I bet

AitchTwoZone · 15/04/2010 21:40

VERY interesting point about the body language, wilbur, dc does seem v uncomfortable. he's pleading with his eyes.

Spidermama · 15/04/2010 21:41

Am I missing Outnumbered for this?

McDreamy · 15/04/2010 21:41

Not grease - foundation! Ok so I will have to change the sheets a bit more than I do now I just couldn't do it with GB. I could turn DC into a bad boy, he has more potential

Jaquelinehyde · 15/04/2010 21:41

David 'anecdotal' Cameron is at it again.

EggyAllenPoe · 15/04/2010 21:41

Current odds from William Hill for debate winner (not election outcome).

NC 4/7
DC 2/1
GB 6/1

who decides who wins? have i missed something?

Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 21:41

I think DC maybe needs a wee.

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 21:41

Clegg doing okay but could score more points by making a stronger link between money that could be saved on Trident and plugging the deficit.

monkeysavingexpertdotcom · 15/04/2010 21:41

Pfft - Gordon. I like facial lines and low(er) foreheads.

I love GB's quiet, fatherly voice. He is definitely romping, it for me. DC is too over excitable. Calm down, Dave, it;s only the election

FattipuffsandThinnifers · 15/04/2010 21:41

Well they are supposed to be representing their parties aren't they?
