She's brilliant. I love her.

jkklpu · 14/04/2010 20:32

I was going to post this link so glad I checked. Great article.

Pofacedagain · 14/04/2010 20:42

Very good article. Makes you realise though that most multi-millionaires are probably non-domicile to evade tax.

policywonk · 14/04/2010 20:49

There is another thread about this here (just fyi)

I agree, she is a ruddy marvel and I Love Her. Especially now that I am a reviled single mother myself.

jackstarbright · 15/04/2010 10:54

Poface Multi-millionaires may choose to be non- domicile to avoid UK tax. Tax evasion is illegal.

Pofacedagain · 15/04/2010 10:59

Yes and HUGE difference isn't there jackstarbright....

ZephirineDrouhin · 15/04/2010 11:23

The difference being jail, as they say.

I loved this article. She is my new hero.

Pofacedagain · 15/04/2010 12:28

Hi Zeph. Quite.

Builde · 15/04/2010 13:49

Read the replies to her article.

One person compared Hogwarts to Eton. However, they are not comparable because ALL wizards in the UK go to Hogwarts (it's non fee paying and comprehensive) but only wealthy clever (or almost clever) people can go to Eton.

Then there was the usual bleat about how a married persons tax allowance is good. (But, I'm married and - because I work - we don't qualify).
