Am heading off to a Labour manifesto briefing on the policies which affect women and families this morning. Anyone got a question they'd like me to put forward if I get an opportunity?

Can you ask them about midwife services? 'every expectant
mother will have a named
midwife providing continuity
of care.' What does that mean - one to one care throughout? How long is the 'continuity' Will you have your named midwife throughout labour, and how often should you see them after the birth?

Asked them about the midwife services - someone's getting back to me with specifics and details of how they'll fund it.
