And did I really just hear Lord Pearson respond to one questioner with 'Yes, Mum'?
They do appear to be a little short of an audience, but is it entirely composed of their family members?

They are as mad as a bucket of frogs.

Despite the small size of the room, they didn't seem to be able to get a microphone to most of the questioners in the audience, so I had to guess the questions from the answers - could easily have been 'Are you as mad as a bucket of frogs?'

Their policies as summarised on the radio were quite bonkers. Double the number of prison places by putting in more bunk beds!!!!
