Another "No Idea Who To Vote For" Thread...

This will be my first time voting in a general election, and although I have taken a mild interest in politics before, I hold my hands up and say quite freely I find it all confusing and rather The Same, regardless of who is talking. Also since have DS I am lucky if I remember what month it is, let alone recent policy changes

Have taken some of the "quiz" links on here about who to vote for etc, and seem to be getting quite a variety of results; Tory, Labour and Lib Dem have all come up, though Green haven't made an appearance yet.

So - I am a teenage mother living with my parents on benefits. Although DP is as an involved father, the majority of the week I am a single mother, as it were, as we only see him at the weekend. My highest qualification is my GCSEs due to falling ill with ME. I want to go to university at some point when I am well enough, and when I can juggle studying, parenting and being ill.

I think the education system and immigration are some of the major issues that need addressing. On a smaller scale, the general every day cost of things such as travel (although I know its quite plain no one will be able to turn this around for quite a while).

What does that "make" me? I have tried reading up but its just not making sense in my head at the moment (am really struggling illness wise currently) - could someone talk to me in basic terms please?

I feel quite embarrassed asking, as generally I hope I come across as mildly intellectual, and this is proof of my ignorance . Maybe I shall blame it on my age and hope for the best..!

Thanks in advance.
