Story here, but SWMNBN wants to act as an arbiter of the main parties' family policies in the run-up to the next election

Words fail...

Good grief, how delusional can one person be.
I shall refer to her as Voldemort from this day forward.
Is that litigious?

HerBeatitude · 02/02/2010 22:00

"She doesn?t believe politicians should be telling parents how to bring up their babies.?

I bet she doesn't. That would be muscling in on her territory wouldn't it. She's the only one who should be telling parents how to bring up their babies.

You know what really worries me? If you google her name and look for images you only see that one weirdy airbrushed version where it looks like she doesn't know what to do with her hands! How can someone so well known have so few pictures?

bran · 03/02/2010 15:06

I particularly love this quote by one of her friends, ?Gina doesn?t care what people say about her, but she does care about mothers who don?t have a voice.?

No irony at all then that MN was in danger of shutting down because she wanted to silence some of the posters.

foxytocin · 03/02/2010 15:41

if GF were to arbitrate the family policy for the general election she'll put Nick Clegg in the nursery at 7 am and shut the door.

foxytocin · 03/02/2010 15:48

"but nowadays many parents have no option but to obtain their skills from parenting books and websites" which is why I charge £60 per year to join my parenting site

and can anyone tell me what 'inaccurate facts' are?

pmsl - what will she come up with next

priyag · 04/02/2010 08:37

Can I ask wheew on her website does it say that she is going to "arbitrate the family policy" ?

From what I have read the editorial team are going to extend their weekly round up of what is happening leading up to the election, no where does it mention that GF is covering anything about politics.

I know there is a history between mumsnet and GF, but I honestly can't believe that some of you are falling for a load of guff written in the newspapers.
