Polititrolls - should we look out for them?

Given this is supposed to be the 'Mumsnet Election', should we be looking out for researchers from political parties posing as normal mums going about their business?

In the '97 election politicians used local newspapers to advertise their policies here. Surely the modern equivalent would be Mumsnet? Should we be looking out for new people discussing how much they want to be able to see their own medical records and how their crush on David Tennant has been superceded by that lovely David Cameron?

I think I am starting to notice a few. Is annoying.

I am very circumspect about a lot of threads and it affects the way I post - which is a shame if the poster is real. Dont know what to do about it though.

Check by using advanced search how long we have been posting by inputting our name. That should give you some idea of how kosher we are.
