if they get in:

They'll end HIPS so my husband will loose his job
He's actually a teacher but can't get work cos the last time they were in they brought in 'cover supervisors' ...unqualified people who are doing our jobs
They do away with the 15 hours nursery care...all we do is wait for our little un to be 3 so we can just break even each month... but no doubt these evil so and sos will take it away to pay for the w(b)ankers ineptitude
I expect they do away with the trust funds too
Teachers wages will be frozen ...
Over 60s cold weather payments? Ha! last time they were in Edwina Currie advised them to knit woolly gloves!
Any tiny power the unions have been able to claw back will go...
We'll be back to teaching kids that homosexuality is wrong and if a piece of literature wasn't written by someone dead, white and male it isn't worth reading
...if they get in I'm jacking it all in... going to sell the house and live in a caravan... no way am I working on Maggie's farm again!

Don't be fooled by all that caring for the family rubbish. All those c care for is making their own kind richer.

PLEASE don't vote for them.

I shall never vote Tory so long as they say that they're going to abolish the Hunting Act. And even if they said they'd changed their minds now just to get my vote, I wouldn't believe them anyway! If they have so little regard for the hunted animals then they're not worth knowing and I certainly don't want them spending my tax money.

ivanahoe · 07/02/2010 23:09

When "one" gets to grips with Tory values, ie just tax cuts, then "one" realises just how "valueless" Tory values are.

lincstash · 15/02/2010 11:07

I cant believe anyone is going to be so stupid as to vote Labour.

Labour has done massive damage to this country. Labour has robbed us of large chunks of our civil liberties, removed big slices of the protection you had against corrupt officials, and in its place set up what is effectively a surveillance society, where you are guilty until proven innocent and big brother is watching your every move. It is no longer true that' if you are innocent, you have nothing to fear'. It is no longer true the police are your friend and there to protect you. Labour has turned the police into the enforcement and revenue arm of the labour party.

Labour deliberately let in millions of immigrants, to flood the labour market with cheap labour, in order to cow the unions. This has undermined all the rights and working conditions earned with blood sweat and tears over the last 150 years. The reason that unemployment in the 16-25 year old group is so high is because millions of jobs like that have been turned into minimum wage agency jobs and given to immigrants. This is not racist to point this out, its the truth. There's factories in Lincolnshire where you cant get a job unless you speak Polish. If you have an unemployed teenage child, you can thank Labour for giving his/her job away.

Then lets not forget the the lie we were told about the EU Constitution and the assurance by Labour we would have a referendum on it. In the end, that promise was dropped and Brown had to sneak in after the cameras had gone and sign without our permission, or even asking us. Labour has given away large amounts of our sovereignty, with nothing in return. We are being inexorably pushed into the United States of Europe, where we will be controlled by foreigners, and instead of making our own decisions we will be just 60 million in 500 million, a minority.

Labour has passed more laws, and taken more tax from you than any other government in history, and told lie after lie. Why for example, is Peter Mandelson anywhere near power? This unelected, immoral, corrupt, slimy toad, twice ejected from public office for being corrupt and dishonest, appears to be the de facto the Deputy Labour leader, yet no one asked US if we wanted him back. Personally i'd trust Harold Shipman more the Mandelson, a man who constantly lines his own pocket by his immoral and corrupt use of public position.

Then you have appalling people like Harriet Harman - anti-marriage, anti-male, anti-family, bigoted, biassed, the High Priestess of militant feminism, who has done more damage to society with her looney left wing feminism than anyone else in history, a woman who 'Equality Bill' is anything but equality, but simply a bigoted embodiment of her anti-male, ant-white, anti-middle class, anti-marriage, and English feminist prejudice.

The fact is, Unless you vote Labour out, you will allow them to remain in power. Oppositions do not win elections unaided, its only government that lose them unaided. Five more years of this immoral, corrupt, untalented mob will see this country off once and for all. Quite frankly, i dont care what Cameron says or does, hes the only chance we have of getting rid of Labour.

Its as simple as this - vote for any other than the Tories, and you are voting for Labour.

lincstash · 15/02/2010 11:19

Then let slook at what labour has done to education.

It has politicised education to the point its stifled with political correctness, and looney left wing educationalist theory, that has produced a generation of children that cant spell, cant write an essay, have no idea about history, geography, and cant even do mental arithmetic without a calculator.

The standards of education have dropped so low under labour we have the worst educated children in europe. The A levels are a joke - the level of the questions are so inane you have to be brain dead to fail. I could have passed a modern A level paper when i was 9 years old, its so simple.

The you have the destruction of the Universities under Labour. A modern degree isnt worth the paper its printed on, its a joke. Worthless noddy simple degrees, whos only function is to attract enough money from rich arabs, are made to be easy to pass, to keep the unis afloat. Proper Uni education, the useful stuff like Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Engineering, have all but vanished. These are the skills we need to make our industry a world leader and generate income for our country. Degrees in Folklore and Mythology or Tourism are no bloody use to us. Knowing where the best sunny beach in Marbella is will not attract million pound engineering contracts, of help us make new scientific discoveries.

Labour has destroyed our chidrens futures by destroying what was the finest education system in the world.

ivanahoe · 20/02/2010 15:30

/////I cant believe anyone is going to be so stupid as to vote Labour////

Actually anybody who votes Labour must have gone back in time to the 70's because this was the last time Britain was run by a "Labour" government.

What we have had since 1997 is a swing to the "right" New Labour government who have embraced fundamental Thatcherite policies in tax, pensions and privatisation.

And ille add that it is because of Thatcher's low income tax free market having also been adopted by New Labour, that our education systems are in tatters.

scottishmummy · 21/02/2010 21:11

Wieloch have reported your offensive post.your arguing style is pure potty mouth.high on expletives low on brain

Tashtodd · 21/02/2010 21:37

"pure potty mouth, high on expletives.." after a read of today's press sounds like the incumbunt at No 10.

Wieloch · 22/02/2010 15:07

Doesn't surprise me SCOTTISHMUMMY you're probably a leftwing agitator. Deleting stuff that exposes Nu-Liebour is a typical hallmark of their media management spin. Come May 6th all will change.

I am the Rev. J.P. Wieloch.

slightlystressed · 22/02/2010 15:31

Oh yes it will all change it will be sssssooooooooo much different wont it? We'll be able to torture foxes again. Woo!

scottishmummy · 22/02/2010 18:44

i dont actually favour much censorship and or moderation.its just i abhor lame arguing, faux indignation and trying to be provocative

so you assume away!but why dont you try engaging in cogent discussion without name-calling.after all that is the point is a discussion forum.you are entitled to make your points, and posters are entitled not to concur if they so wish

so go on make your point (if you can) without typing a lot of bilious insults

grandadofsix · 27/02/2010 11:42

Ronnie Scott, he of the Ronnie Scott Club in London, had a saying....."Never pat a burning dog!". Pat the Tories and you'll get burnt, if they get in we will be taken backwards and be in for an even worse time than Mrs Thatcher gave us. Dave, bless him, and his gang are just the "Caring Conservative" front men for what lurks in the dark behind!

bernadetteoflourdes · 06/03/2010 12:34

Eliatan I voted for new lab twice and never again. I will vote for them (Tories)and they were last in power 13 years ago so I dont see how that has affected your dh's teaching job things have changed immeasurably in that time
Banker wankers getting out of control was due to Gordos meddling deregulation and Labour were seduced by them. As to HIPS they are a bloody waste of space so I for one am glad they are going. I am sorry if your dh loses his job but if he also provides the energy assessment then he wont lose his job as that part will remain also your dh will at least have his taching to fall back on. IMHO I am prepared to give them a chance and have not voted Tory before our joint income=21k a and I am northern w/class mining background before you wag your judgy finger. And I feel more inclined to vote for them after your lame party political appeal t 13 years and both times before the recession hit so we had our chuffing recession 8 years ago

bernadetteoflourdes · 06/03/2010 12:39

sorry post at end should have read ---lame party political appeal,dh has been made redundant 2wice in last 13 years
and both times were before this recession etc etc

bernadetteoflourdes · 06/03/2010 14:14

Oh and Eliatan thank Christ you are not my dc's English teacher at secondary school your spelling is pretty piss poor. Interfered dear not interferred and dc's teacher has really enthused them with Shakespeare and has looked at both Testament of Youth and Churchill's My Early Life so good balance there I believe (State Comp btw) So Iam truly glad you are not in charge of the curriculum.
You need to "calm down dear" because some of your posts are a little hysterical.

bernadetteoflourdes · 06/03/2010 15:37

Oh and OP I reserve my right to pick on YOUR spellings because I think you are polit troll, strange as I haven't bumped int you before are you a shape shifter?

LucyLG · 22/03/2010 07:23

I really don't want to live in a world that's got Dave's agenda driving it. I don't think he's remotely in touch with what Britain needs, and I reckon the Tories are using him as a thinly veiled attempt to disguise their true intentions. Beware the smiling assassin.

We've been warned that cuts in public spending are going to be 'worse' than under Thatcher already, and I just dread to think where the 'little' money that will be available will be spent under Conservatives. Certainly not on basic education & healthcare for the masses, I fear.

All this stuff about 'broken Britain' - what a joke. We have it better than we realise. I know unemployment has rocketed during the recession, but no-one's starving (unlike the 80's - remember Wigan? Starved back to work across the picket lines...) and many of the unemployed people I interview for jobs at my work may be struggling, but are 100% not desperate!

boiledeggandsoldiers · 22/03/2010 10:30

But the alternative under Labour LucyLG is that we all continue to enjoy public services, benefits, etc., until the country is bankrupt, which I promise will be worse.

I don't much care for the tories but they are the best of a bad bunch.
