I posted on the other thread which is running about the odious Rupert Lowe.
If anyone is reading this and isn’t familiar with the facts surrounding Dunblane, there is a documentary on BBC iPlayer Dunblane: How Britain banned handguns.
It was screened on the 30th anniversary of the shootings and murders - plural.
There were also many children admitted to hospital with gunshot wounds, who survived.
The Snowdrop Campaign which was founded by mothers affected by the tragedy, was characterised by their dignity, determination and strength of purpose.
As a result of their work, not only was the handgun ban introduced, but our schools were made safer in general in terms of access and security.
In the face of unimaginable and unprecedented tragedy, the Snowdop Campaign changed this country for the better.
There are no words to describe people who would seek to minimise the murder of 16 children and their teacher and the injuries of all the other children.
Rupert Lowe and his ilk are beneath contempt.
