According to the FT the US Treasury Secretary admonished Rachel Reeves face to face for her comments over the Iran war - she had questioned what the plan actually was and had voiced her frustrations at the impact on the economy. Her reply to his reprimand was “I’m not your employee and I don’t like the tone you’re using with me”. Regardless of what I may / may not think of her policies at home I fully support her on this and think she was pretty ballsy - good for her!!
For standing up to the bullying Trump administration. It sounds like he piped down!
