I genuinely think that if he had responded straight away, he would have been dismissed as "Trump's poodle", just like Tony Blair and GW. However, having a Cobra meeting, discussing the situation and checking legalities somehow makes him weak and vacillating.

I agree, he was doing the right thing although he seems to be moving more towards what Trump wants. Has anyone seen a survey about the general consensus towards the war, and/or his actions?
