It’s hard to keep up with the blitzkrieg of ignorance and cruelty which is trump’s modus operandi but this still shocked me.
It is so blatant. And nobody calls him out on it. And the white house defends it.
In what universe is it acceptable for a man in public office to call a woman piggy for asking him a question in the course of both their work?
Is this all a bad dream?

Has the WH defended it? What did they say?

I think everyone is so used to his toddler like remarks that it's not shocking any more. Terrible.

They said the president gets frustrated with reporters who spread fake news but did not say how this applied in this situation.

The reporter in question had been asking trump about the epstein files which is clearly a topic he doesn’t want to talk about.

It seems to have been a deliberate distraction to the news cycle while they gutted the Clean Water Act and opened up oil drilling in the Arctic.

It makes me think Caligula's behaviour was real.
