Please. Help me choose a suitable part to vote for

I've always voted Green.

However, their approach to trans rights had conclusively rules that out ever again.

I'm reasonably left wing, buy the Communist Part Socialist Worker occasionally, passionate about healthcare and equality, especially for those who are homeless/ low income etc.

I have no idea who to vote for.

Not that is matters really. Where I live they could tie a blue ribbon on a pig and it would get elected.

Do I just spoil my vote?

Wait until nearer the GE and see how the land lies?

Eta: unless you are in Scotland or Wales and talking about the elections in May. If so, then SNP or PC?

What @PandoraSocks says. I feel a bit homeless politically now but there's a good 3 years to go and things will change in that time, one way or another.

If there's no chance of anyone apart from the incumbent getting in, then vote for anyone you want.
If there's any chance at all of a worse option winning the seat, then vote for whoever is mostly likely to keep them at bay.
Sadly, that's the state of our current electoral system.
