Anyone think that if the rail guard who saved people on the train stabbing incident was not called “Samir Zitouni” today that the daily mail would probably have had him featured on the front page?

nowehere to be seen and instead a bunch of scraped up stories about asylum seekers

shocking

Well they probably did the day before.

You can see all the recent Daily Mail front pages on the internet, eg here: https://www.thepaperboy.com/uk/daily-mail/front-pages-today.cfm

Most of the headlines are about how bad Rachel Reeves is. There is no mention of this heroic act.

It was on the main online page. I think most of their readers access it online.

Oh well. Maybe they think the economy is the headline for most people? On the Telegrah website the headline changes every half an hour or so!

Yes, they all seem to do that! News moves quickly nowadays.

Certainly good if it was up there, even if only for a short time.

I am very VERY VERY cynical about all news outlet media. I don't read it, and I don't place any reliance on it. But I am aware that other people do, and will be influenced by what is written.

Of course. They're very influential. I often look at the front pages online for various papers, it's interesting to see what they prioritise, and what the editorial policy is.
