I saw that Zack on Jeremy Vine once , he’s a communist , absolutely bat shit crazy .

thedramaQueen · 03/09/2025 09:14

@hattie43 that comment makes you look bat shit crazy. You clearly don't know the difference between communism and socialism. Zack Polanski is best described as a left-wing, eco-socialist politician, but not a communist

TheNoonBell · 03/09/2025 10:31

Another watermelon leader with some deeply worrying ideas.

zaxxon · 03/09/2025 10:37

I'm hoping he'll be stronger on economics than the previous Green leaders have been. They had a lot of good policies that I would have liked to have seen enacted, but clearly with no idea how to fund them.

thelovelyview · 04/09/2025 08:36

He has actual policies, so that’s in his favour, and a refreshing change. Good for him.

wonderpetsrus · 04/09/2025 08:41

Can’t trust anyone that thinks he can tell you how to make your boobs bigger if you pay him. Greens remain lost to stupidity/ ideology it seems. Such a shame

YourLemonTiger · 04/09/2025 09:37

The only interesting thing I know about Zack Polanski is that he was caught in a sting as a hypnotist, 'hypnotising' women to make their breasts larger 😳😂

This automatically makes me question his suitability for any job, let alone a political leader.

Mind you, the Green Party appears to be largely make up of loons these days so maybe he's a good fit for them.

hattie43 · 04/09/2025 09:48

Today he’s in the news for saying shoplifting is justified and he would do it if poor . So breaking the law is acceptable if your circumstances warrant it . An absolute tool .

nowitsmetime · 07/09/2025 23:04

I really like him and he is great on interviews, and his views on a wealth tax are cutting through hence all the attacks he is getting via the right wing press and why everyone who prefers f-face is losing their minds.

I may or may not vote greens at the next election, i don't know yet but I like the fact he is making waves and offering an alternative view. If you look at the reform policies, most of them are also pie in the sky and their leader is also a massive tool!

HumanRightsAreHumanRights · 08/09/2025 08:58

Unelectable.
Their 2024 manifesto sounds like it was written by a child "We'll make things FAIR"

Life isn't fair and if you still think it is, you'll be eaten alive in politics.

The big difference is the Reform leader is popular and the only likely contender for government . The Greens are just a fantasy and wasted vote .

That's not communism, my History teacher in the 90's was a Socialist and he said that when his own house got burgled.

BIossomtoes · 08/09/2025 11:21

I heard him on Any Questions last week. I really liked Carla Denyer and her grounded approach and was flirting with voting Green next time if they could come up with some sensible economic policy. Zack Polanski‘s leadership has taken that off the table. I’ll now vote for whichever candidate has the best chance of keeping Reform out. If that has to be Tory (likely here as it’s very right wing) I’ll hold my nose.

MellersSmellers · 09/09/2025 22:45

He is very energetic and I think charismatic, but I don't know how much depth is there. But watch, he is populist and will draw many people to the Greens. I worry that splitting the centre/centre-left vote will just let Reform in.

It is worrying. We need a green/ socialist coalition.

Mrsmunchofmunchington · 14/09/2025 08:11

When someone is known for believing something which is utter nonsense it is hard to take anything else they say seriously.

He said he could make women’s breasts bigger by hypnotism.

Rather like David Lammy thinking men could grow cervixes.

The Greens could have really made enormous gains in the current shitshow from other parties but they have allowed a minority of gender activists into positions of power and these are the people who now determine the leadership and policies so the party will instead continue as a fringe group.

Men in frocks are apparently more important than the climate now.

What a waste.
