Pensions Stolen, Hotels Paid: How the State Betrays British Women

So let’s get this straight.
Labour says it would be “unfair” — yes, unfair — to pay British women the pensions they’re rightfully owed. A flat-rate compensation scheme, they argue, would cost up to £10.5 billion. That, apparently, is just too much for the taxpayer to handle. Too heavy a burden. Too expensive. Too inconvenient.
But wait — in the very same breath, they have no issue at all signing off on billions of pounds to house illegal migrants in hotels. Not just hostels or temporary shelters — but full-service hotels, many costing hundreds of pounds per night. Paid for by you. The British taxpayer.

Women who worked all their lives, paid into the system, raised children, supported families — many of them now pensionless, struggling to heat their homes or feed themselves — are told: “Sorry, there’s no money left.” Yet people who entered this country illegally, without contributing a single penny to the public purse, are handed food, shelter, healthcare, and legal aid on a silver platter.
Where is the outrage? Where is the logic? Where is the basic common sense?
Let’s call it what it is: an insult. A slap in the face to every British woman who’s been denied justice. A betrayal of the very people who built this country.

The state is happy to tell working-class women — many of whom were misled, underinformed, or outright ignored when their pension age was quietly raised — that they must simply “get on with it.” But when it comes to those who cross our borders illegally? The red carpet rolls out. No delays. No debates. No “affordability” test.

The message is loud and clear: law-abiding British citizens come last.
Let that sink in.

Because this is no longer just about money. It’s about priorities. It’s about morality. It’s about who this country serves — and who it’s abandoned.
If the government — and Labour in particular — truly cared about fairness, justice, or “proportionality,” then British women would not be fighting tooth and nail for scraps while illegal migrants are put up in comfort using the very taxes those same women paid throughout their lives.

This isn’t a funding issue. It’s a political choice.
It’s not that the country is broke — it’s that those in charge have broken their promise to the people who deserve it most.
And it’s time we said enough is enough.

I think it's better to keep hyperbole and emotion out of it now, as things are getting too heated here in the UK and just look at the facts and numbers. That's the only way that we can all get the true picture. That way people can avoid being lied to by both sides of the argument and can judge properly whether there is a problem.

There is a problem if over 20,000 people have entered the country illegally this year. You must agree. Unless you don't agree with borders. In which case we probably won't agree at all.

Don't call me hyperbolic and emotional when you haven't got a clue what's going on. The reason things are getting 'heated' is because of constant propaganda in the media stoking division.

I doubt they have a choice. But it doesn't mean that those people don't have real and valid concerns. Yet Keir Starmer chosen to tar everyone with the same brush. He doesn't appear to care at all about the people of this country. He needs to go as soon as possible I'm afraid.

You doubt they have a choice?

So that is why they are holding up a sign saying they are not right wing ? They couldn't walk away and protest somewhere else.Confused

Why should they? They are the ones that live there. It's the police's fault for bussing in a load of left wing loons to aggravate matters. Not sure why they did that.

Quirkswork · 24/07/2025 10:32

I'm sure it could be achieved.

What I think will happen instead though is that on the basis judges are clearly being persuaded by human rights lawyers to try and keep every immigrant coming into the UK here so theres no much point trying to deport anyone, all the "asylum seekers" coming in will be more quickly processed by the simple method of saying "yes" to the majority of them. And then the numbers can look like they are being reduced. And our population will steadily rise further as there doesn't seem to be a reduction in people coming in.

They would need to be effectively prisons, staffed as such and where would you build them?
If they were not, the migrants would leave....

Happy to have one near you, housing say 1000 migrants, so that would need 100 sites and counting....

Vast majority of WASPI women knew about the changes, no way should 10billion be wasted like this when there isn't 5 billion to sort out dentistry or adult social care.

Of course if those who disagree want to pay more tax, then HMRC will accept donations.....

The police did no such thing, Farage admitted on GB News that it was a lie

If you do not want to be tarred with the far right, don't hang out with them, go protest somewhere else. At the local council for exmple

As I said. They will all be approved in order to look like the system is working because the waiting lists have gone down.

The police have now admitted that they did after all escort masked counter-protesters into a crowd of - at the time - peaceful protestors.

The chief constable claimed they had no choice to keep them apart because of the human rights of the counter-protesters.

Even though they were happy to threaten Gideon Falter with arrest last year for being 'openly Jewish' in the vicinity of the Palestine protests. 2-tier human rights, clearly.

At this point I should probably remind everyone that it is not illegal to enter the UK by small boat and claim asylum. Someone arriving in a small boat is not illegally here until their asylum claim has been refused, at which point they are eligible for deportation. Until then, their claim is pending, and they are allowed to be here.

Accuracy matters.

Farage claimed that counter protesters were bussed in. That article does not say that is true.

The article does say that protesters were escorted away from the area.

This is often done for their own safety

Well that rather sums up the whole problem doesn't it. With the "asylum seekers"

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say here, so maybe be a little less opaque about it.

My statement on asylum seekers is a simple summary of international law. You can disagree with international law, but it's not going to change any time soon.

Oh ho ho. You guys!! 😉

The majority won't be seeking asylum from anything in a legal sense of the word "asylum". Yes their lives in their own countries may be pretty bad. But that doesn't give them the legal right to come here to live and claim the support that the UK gives to genuine asylum seekers. Sorry. We aren't all mugs. Well, we are I suppose, if we are UK taxpayers.

Anyway night all.

Well, according to Google, "in 2024, approximately 16,000 asylum claims were made by individuals who initially entered the UK on a student visa. This figure represents a significant portion, nearly one in six, of all asylum claims made in the UK during that year."

Whilst of course it's possible that people fleeing war and oppression might qualify for a place on UK university course, get over here, live and study for a few years and then decide that they can't possibly go back, I'm a bit sceptical.
