Has Project 2025 become a reality?

Before Trump was elected, Project 2025, a radical plan for Conservative government produced by the Heritage Foundation. It is 'an extensive plan that includes appointing ideologically aligned civil servants, restricting abortion access, opposing LGBTQ+ rights, transforming federal agencies for political purposes, and imposing strict immigration policies.' Wiki.

While previously claiming to not know much about it before the elections, Trump seems to be using it as a blueprint to his second term in office. This Telegraph article is behind a paywall, but I wanted to share it.

Yes. I don't know why we are all surprised. They said they would do it but I guess we didn't want to believe anyone was that stupid/ evil.

Even more chilling was a BBC's John Simpson's Unspun World report which he ended by saying today's headlines regarding Israel killing hundreds in Gaza and Putin and Trump carving up Ukraine, are like something from the 1930's. Dangerous times indeed.

Thank you for sharing that. When I saw your thread I thought of the Reddit thing where straight after the inauguration they started trying to track the policies against the Project 2025 blue print.

I guess that's the weakness of decent people, right? It's hard to believe that someone could be so awful.

Pornography wasn’t readily available when I was a child. We should all be concerned that it is, It shouldn’t be available to all. Scenes in most films now are more than was available when I was a kid.
