So my partner keeps saying because of Zelenskyy/ Trump arguement ww3 will happen. (He has been saying that forever tbf).

I personally just keep getting further and further to the point that surely the countries providing bombs and aid to Ukraine are already at constant war, including us.

If we weren’t at war we would not need to supply bombs/cut foreign aid and give more to the army? Not only that but the increase on petrol etc as a result of Russia invading Ukraine was huge? Are we involved in their war?

Zelenskyy said he would step down if Ukraine could join NATO? Why not let him?

I think world war is now inevitable, Trump has made it very clear that he has a good relationship with Putin but seems at odds with Europe.

So I'm afraid I can't see any other move than Europe putting troops in-between the Ukraine and Russia. It's the only way to stop Putin taking all of the Ukraine and then eventually Poland, Romania and Latvia....then we are in the road to a very different Europe.

We have to accept that parts of the Ukraine where there has always been a strong Russian separatist presence may never be part of the Ukraine again but any further advances would lose a great threat to us all
