So, if Putin invaded, and took, part of Finland say - would Trump let him keep it?

depends on what natural resources he could get a share of for intervening (given with grateful thanks by Finland of coyrse) or get when negotiating a peace deal.....

Yes, he would. As far as he is concerned, American troops are just for defending America and everyone else will still look up to the USA as he greatest country on earth just for existing and doing nothing to help anyone else.

Donotpanicoknowpanic · 19/02/2025 19:40

Trump has made it clear it's America first and he expects countries to take there own defense seriously

Though if he invaded a NATO country the USA should step up as that's the NATO agreement.... though would he 🤔

It might depend how much as a percentage of GDP that country spent on defence and if he considered it enough

Flomingho · 19/02/2025 20:09

yes, I think he would only intervene if America was being threatened. He doesn't care about other countries even if they are allies.

Summerhillsquare · 19/02/2025 20:36

He'd consider what's in it for him - if he hasn't already agreed that with Putin, that is. He's a monster, basically.

Pokadotspink · 19/02/2025 20:36

you could argue why would the usa be the worlds military ? plus some people complain with eg usa being involved with other countries,

Yup. Most people think so. Trump has no concept of honor, cares nothing about others, does not honor commitments. Plus which, he acceded to pretty much anything Russia wants.
