I have just watched this documentary film in horror.
I’d seen a couple of Moore’s previous works Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine years ago but only came across this one about the first Trump presidency recently.
Amongst other revelations I could not believe what happened in Flint, Michigan with the water poisoning for profit. I even did some more reading into the history of events afterwards as I my mind as completely blown that this actually happened in America just a few years ago.
Somebody posted recently that contrary to what many outsiders believe, the US is a third world country in a first world suit and I think that sums it up pretty well.
The enormous difference between rich and poor and the blatant government corruption puts our issues in the UK into perspective and Trump 2.0 is pledged to increasing the divide without even a pretence of equity.
