Trump, with his usual nutjob megalomania, has decreed that the Gulf of Mexico's name should be re-titled the Gulf of America on maps.

So I'm anticipating the U.K. reclaiming the U.S.

I doubt it. It is hellbent on destroying itself and we've already fallen victim to that.

It's mad what is going on over there.

What do we think of them closing down USAid? They have locked the employees out of their workplace. They went in on Sunday ( yes, Sunday!), were not allowed to access some "restricted" areas ( which area is meant to be restricted to the US government within the US government that is not the Secret Service? I quite do not get this bit...), then they sent an email to employees on Sunday! Sunday! Telling them not to come in on Monday.
This is a bit too much, isn't it? For an Aid Agency? I feel for the poor workers, now not knowing for sure if they do have a job or not.
Surely there are cuts to be done and efficiency waiting to be improved in almost any role, but why all this drama?

I had read about some websites being inaccessible quite early after Trump's inauguration, but not about this speed of " closure"
Regarding the re-naming of things, we are now in Trump planet, for sure. Let's get our belts well fastened. This is a fast roller coaster!

Well, @MushMonster, I think Trump overall is "too much," to put it mildly. Or, if I wanted to be more precise, I might say: vicious, vindictive, and irrational.

This second term is being brutal! He is closing and destroying everything found on his path. It is much more aggresive that I thought he would be.

It's more aggressive that ANYONE thought.

The funny thing is, if Trump weren't so awful, it would be admirable to hit the ground running like this.
