Now, it's me not Dylan, I've probably mangled that quote, but it's always been the truth that the rich/the powerful turn the poor/the ones without power against each other.
"Look over there," that poor person is trying to steal the piece of cake you have. Don't look at me, who has 7/8 of the cake. I'm not the problem, that person is.
The one nearly as poor as you, isnt the one to fear.But the one is very rich, has the means to persuade you this is true.
Sorry, ranting now, but my 70+ years here have persuaded me that this is what happens everywhere.
The solution? Really seeing who is saying what, and asking why they are saying it? Is it another "look over there" or are they actually asking us to look at them?
