I lived in a country that banned all abortion for a very long time. A family member just delivered the baby early and was not treated badly at all when it died.

The UK has had legalised abortion for a long time and yet still 1 in 17 abortions are at home, so it didn't end backstreet abortion being legalised.

The NHS website states that If a woman is less than 10 weeks pregnant she may be able to have a medical a portion at home... is that what you're referring to when you refer to 1 in 17 abortions being at home? So... it may be that the at home abortions are legal. Not backstreet.
