Is it time to cut foreign aid, the tool of 'soft diplomacy' from India and South Africa, given that they're hoisting flags up a different pole, as it were?

I think they made the right choice. The west is in serious decline in all areas, financial, societal, industrial and defence.

BRICS is the future.

Although interestingly quite a few Russians recognise they are becoming a client state of China. Will China send India and South Africa foreign aid or just build railways there in order to move their natural resources out quicker?

South Africa are eyeing up investors, China and Russia either already are or certainly will. Possibly South Africa are also pissed off with America and Europe for Supporting Israelis actions in Gaza.
