This article in the Guardian is just so upsetting and just highlights the mess the country is in. Children are starving, their parents unable to afford enough food. This country really is in a mess.

It's interesting that Romania fares better, when they have far higher levels of poverty and a poorer infrastructure.
I wonder what's at the heart of this?

This does not surprise me. The situation for my girls is the exact opposite of what's described for Dutch teens.

Crime and fear of crime/ASB men have devastated their worldview and curtailed their freedoms. They are retreating online.

Anybody have any positive local examples of anti-drug/crime initiatives for young people?
